Bridging the Digital Divide in Garissa
MISSION
EDUCATION
LOCATION
GARISSA, KENYA
CONTRIBUTION GOAL
$3,000
project Overview
The Digital Access Initiative equips five rural schools in Garissa County, Kenya, with refurbished laptops and reactivates trained local digital mentors - helping students develop practical digital skills for education and future opportunity.
Why that matters
Students in low-income pastoralist communities across Garissa face deep technology access gaps, limiting exposure to digital learning and modern skills.
By restoring and expanding a proven local initiative that has already trained 500+ young people, this project brings structured digital learning back to five rural schools.
This project will directly support 200 people
